A view in your crystal ball.

Let’s consider this, which happens often to us. A lot of the times our reaction to an event creates an unwanted or unproductive outcome:
event -> reaction -> outcome
But there is an alternative. Focus on the outcome, then choose your reaction.
When an unsettling event occurs, pause before reacting. In that pause, ask yourself a single question: What is the outcome I want? Then, instead of reacting to the event, react to the outcome, make the outcome happen.
In other words, stop reacting to the past and start reacting to the future. How you react can and need to be determined by the outcome - by the future you want to create.
event -> outcome -> reaction
So ever wondering what would be the future, the outcome you would like to see in your crystal ball? It’s up to yourself to define.
Don’t worry.
You and I don’t need to be told anything new. We already know enough to lead perfect lives. Our trouble is not ignorance, but inaction.
No way to live
Excuses are a simple way of absolving ourselves of taking action. It’s easier to make an excuse than push past our comfort zones, to face our fears, or to take responsibility for the fact that when it comes down to it, we just aren’t willing to take action. And that’s no way to live. No. Way. To. Live. You get one shot at this life. Don’t make excuses. Get accountable. Move forward. Don’t let another day pass you by.
Don’t wait until you know who you are to get started. In the end, the questions can only be answered by action.
